Tachyum Named Leading Specialist in Big Data Solutions by CV Magazine

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 4, 2019 – Tachyum Inc. has been recognized among the Leading Specialists in Big Data Solutions in the USA as part of the 2019 Corporate Excellence Awards by Corporate Vision Magazine. The awards are designed to recognize outstanding achievement, game-changing innovation and stellar performance of companies and individuals from around the business world.

Providing readers worldwide with a wealth of news, features and comment on the corporate issues of the day, CV Magazine is more than just a publication, instead serving as an invaluable resource for readers and decision makers looking to improve and transform the way they manage their operations, staff, technology, business partnerships and supply chains, with a view to creating a more profitable and successful business. Winners of the 2019 Corporate Excellence Awards were decided by a combination of votes gathered from the publication’s network of respected industry partners and its own rigorous in-house research, performed by its dedicated network of industry insiders and corporate specialists.

Tachyum was recognized as a Leading Specialist in Big Data Solutions for the development of its Prodigy Universal Processor Chip, the smallest and fastest general purpose, 64-core processor developed to date, requiring 10x less processor power and reducing processor cost by 3x. Tachyum’s Prodigy processor reduces data center TCO (annual total cost of ownership) by 4x, through a disruptive hardware architecture and a smart compiler that has made many parts of the hardware found in a typical processor redundant. Fewer wires and shorter wires, due to a smaller, simpler core, translates into much greater speed and power efficiency for the processor.

“We are pleased to have been named as a leader in Big Data solutions by CV Magazine for our work in developing the Prodigy processor,” said Dr. Radoslav Danilak, Co-founder and CEO of Tachyum. “This award is further recognition and validation of our approach to transforming the landscape of intelligent data processing with the greater speed and power efficiency needed to overcome the challenges faced in delivering next-generation technology and solutions to the market. The success of Prodigy will enable success across a variety of industries, such as Big Data analytics, deep learning, mobile, large-scale computing and more.”
