Industry Associations in the technology sector
Tachyum is proud to announce that it has become a member of several industry associations in the technology sector, such as GSA, JEDEC, IEEE, OpenBMC, UEFI, UCIe, Open Compute Project, Gaia-X (European Association for Data and Cloud).
As a member, Tachyum will contribute its expertise to panels and working groups, and participate in scheduled events. It will also enable key Tachyum management to network and engage with other member companies.
I4DI Innovation for Digital Infrastructure
Tachyum has also joined I4DI (Innovation for Digital Infrastructure) consortium to design the world’s fastest AI Supercomputer in Slovakia.
Together with fellow founding members PosAm, Towercom, IPM Group and InoCloud and newest members Seagate, WWT, VNET and Sylex are lending their expertise, along with partners SAS (Slovak Academy of Sciences) and MIRDI (Ministry of Investment, Regional Development and Informatization) who are bringing their relevant capabilities and experience to the development of the National Supercomputing Centre (NSCC) in Slovakia.
Collaboration with institutions in Research & Academia
Tachyum has entered into two important MoUs with the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) and the Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC) to collaborate on open supercomputing projects, scientific research, and innovations in artificial intelligence.
Both supercomputing centers will test an HPC infrastructure based on the Tachyum platform. We have entered into agreements also with prestigious universities and faculties. We are interested in creating a Knowledge and Innovation Community for AI that mutually benefits research, business, manufacturing and university education.

PCI-SIG is the consortium that owns and manages PCI specifications as open industry standards. The organization defines industry standard I/O (input/output) specifications consistent with the needs of its members.
ETP4HPC – the European Technology Platform (ETP) for High-Performance Computing (HPC)
ETP4HPC is a private, industry-led and non-profit association whose main mission is to promote European HPC research and innovation.
OEUHPC is dedicated to re-inventing HPC from expensive proprietary supercomputers towards low cost open systems, making it accessible, ultra-low power and more flexible with unparalleled scalability, far beyond conventional supercomputers.
National Supercomputer Centre covers activities related to HPC. The vision of NSCC as an association of state institutions and the private sector is also to develop a new supercomputer in Slovakia.
I4DI (Innovations for Digital Infrastructure) is a partnership of innovative EU and global technology leaders brought together to develop European-based supercomputing solutions to advance the region’s capabilities in solving the performance, power and efficiency issues challenging the industry today.

Faculty of Management Science and Informatics
Faculty of Management Science and Informatics, University of Žilina was founded on July 17th 1990 by approval of University Senate. The main idea of foundation was integration of developing knowledge from ICT in the Faculty Programmes of study. That was above all students and staff from Department of Technical Cybernetics existing from 1972 on the University (in that time University of Transport and Communication, Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering).
