Tachyum Named Among 10 Most Innovative Companies to Watch in 2021 by Business Sight Media

LAS VEGAS, January 22, 2021 – Tachyum ™ was recognized as one of Business Sight’s 10 Most “Innovative” Companies to Watch in 2021, which was highlighted with a video interview featuring Tachyum founder and CEO Dr. Radoslav Danilak discussing the company’s journey, business approach and the challenges overcome from launch to today.

Business Sight is a platform that bridges the gap between businesses and their clients. It adds value to the lives of CFOs, CEOs, CTOs, VPs, AVPs, CMOs, CIOs and other leadership teams that exists in the corporate world. The publication’s objective is to keep audiences abreast on the latest updates happening in industries like automobile, cloud computing, IT, Media and entertainment, Healthcare, Consulting, Banking and finance, E Commerce, Education, Logistics and Manufacturing.

Tachyum was recognized for its work in developing the world’s first Universal Processor, code named Prodigy, which delivers industry-leading performance for data center, AI and HPC workloads in a single chip. The ”Entrepreneur Talk” video features Danilak informing viewers about Prodigy and its ability to reduce data center TCO (Total annual Cost of Operations) by a factor of 4x, unify cloud data center workloads with artificial intelligence and supercomputing, build human brain-scale AI for the first time within 2 to 3 years, among other topics.

Tachyum’s Prodigy can run HPC applications, convolutional AI, explainable AI, general AI, bio AI, and spiking neural networks, plus normal data center workloads, on a single homogeneous processor platform, using existing and standard programming models. Without Prodigy, data center customers must use a combination of CPUs, GPUs, TPUs and other accelerators for these different workloads, creating inefficiency, expense, and the complexity of maintaining separate hardware infrastructures. Using specific hardware dedicated to each type of workload (e.g. data center, AI, HPC), results in the significant underutilization of hardware resources, and more challenging programming, support, and maintenance environments. Prodigy’s ability to seamlessly switch among these various workloads dramatically changes the competitive landscape and drastically improves data center economics.

“I am grateful to Business Sight for the opportunity to evangelize about the need for technology solutions that ultimately help preserve our planet, as well as the chance to describe how Prodigy accomplishes that goal,” said Danilak. “Being recognized among the Most Innovative Companies to Watch is a testament to the success we have achieved since the launch of Tachyum and the volume production of Prodigy that will be occurring later this year.”

Danilak’s interview is live now on the Business Sight website and across the publication’s social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn and X. Tachyum will also be featured in a two-page article in Business Sight’s magazine editions on their website.

About Tachyum

Tachyum is disrupting data center, HPC, and AI markets by providing the world’s first Universal Processor, with industry leading performance, cost and power, across all three computational domains, while, at the same time, enabling data centers to exceed the capacity of the human brain. Tachyum, Co-founded by Dr. Radoslav Danilak, and its

flagship product Prodigy, begins high-rate production in 2021, with software emulations and a FPGA-based emulator available to early adopters. It is targeting a $50B market, growing at 20% per year. With data centers currently consuming over 3% of the planet’s electricity, predicted to be 10% by 2025, the ultra-low power Prodigy Universal Processor is critical, if we want to continue doubling worldwide data center capacity every 4 years. Tachyum is one of the founding members of I4DI (Innovations for Digital Infrastructure), which will build the world’s fastest AI supercomputer in Slovakia showcasing Prodigy.  Tachyum has offices in the USA and Slovakia, EU.
